Happy New Year to everone!
It's been a little while since my last post and as always, I have some catching up to do.
So, I'm starting with as CAS birthday card that I made for a friend towards the end of last year.
My son bought this beautiful Ella stamp by BellaArt for my birthday which I have been really looking forward to using. It is just perfect for a CAS card and it's been designed so that you can extend it, should you wish to.
I used Tim Holtz distress inks in antique linen, tea dye, worn lipstick and scattered straw to colour my stamped image (using watercolour card) and then stamped and coloured the flowers, also in the set before cutting them out. My flowers also have gold prills in the centres for a little dimension.
This is my favourite of the 3 beautiful designs that come alive with just a little colour, which takes the stress out of colouring if you are not a natural colourist, like myself.
BellaArt stamps can be purchased via Debbi Moore Designs, where there is also a Facebook live in the Inspiration section from Bella where she demos how to colour her set of face stamps, which I found very useful.
Have a great day, whatever you have planned for yourself.
