Sharing a birthday card that I have made for my friend's daughters birthday using the Tink The Bear Cardmaking digital download kit by Opulence by Design Crafts.
I have gone back to using 6x6 inch card blanks for quite a few of my cards as I find it is also a good size for my stamping projects too.
I'm linking up to the weekly blog hop for 'What's on my workdesk Wednesday' (WOYWW), where we all see what everyone has been doing. If you'd like to know more about it, then please visit Sarahscraftshed.co.uk
I have selected what I am going to use on my card, although I did change my mind on the embellishments once I started to put the card together. This is such a pretty card making kit and great value for money too. There are a good selection of toppers too as well as plenty of flowers in this 10 page download kit.
For this card I did reduced the size of my blooms and I think they are so pretty. This flower with its little leaf was really easy to cut out, and I didn't need to add any extra foliage, its those little extras that make a difference.
Between the layers I added a little Angelina fusible fibre in raspberry sparkle, just for texture as the colours went so well with the kit. I have had this for years and you can still purchase it from Clevercut along with fusible film.
I changed my embellishments to cream glitter card and added stickles glitter glue to the centre of my blooms.
I also decoupaged the flowers on the topper and added one of the sentiments onto my topper using My Craft Studio.
I thought I'd end this post with a pic of the squirrel chilling in the garden on our bench eating his nuts on a sunny afternoon ( taken last month).

Oh your cards are so sweet. What wonderful images. Very cute for sure, as is Mr Squirrel, nut-munching and chillin. He'd make a fine card topper as a line drawing :)
A quick hop before knitting at mine!
Happy WOYWW.

That's a really pretty card - thank you for sharing it with us!
Adorable image and beautifully designed card, love the colour combo and flowers.
Great photo of the squirrel, there are loads in the woods just 5 minutes from our house but haven't seen any in the garden lately, just as well really, my dog would go nuts!!

Your card is very pretty, lovely flowers and layers. I tend to favour 6 x 6 blanks, a nice size to work on and better for posting too. I had a look at the Opulence site, some nice images there. Happy WOYWW. Angela #15
I like 6x6 cards too....a nice size. Love the one you made.

What a gorgeous little card, perfect for a little girl. How clever of you to alter the dimensions of what was provided and add extras from your stash, that’s a canny crafter for you! And that squirrel was a whopper, he/she definitely believed in piling on the pounds before Winter!

What an absolutely darling card! I love all the layers (the fusible fibre is brilliant!) and wonderful details.
This is amazing design and stunning colours, very cleverly done x
Must say I have gone into 6 x 6 cards recently - have a folder with lots in ready to use. Must remember to cut some 5.5' squares to work on.
You have made a lovely card with this kit, I am sure the recipient will be thrilled.

I have found someone else who loves 6 x 6 card squares. That was what I always used to use but then thought I ought to try different sizes and shapes but they are still a favourite. I love the colour you have used. A kind of Apricot ?
