Rosy Tea Party

A thank you card is my make to share today and this one is an adorable digi stamp for this month's progressive monthly digi stamp challenge from Imagine that digistamp.

As I took part in last month's challenge  I was sent this month's digi kit; Rosy Tea Party, to use in this month's challenge.

I really like the pre-coloured option to these digi kits and although I am only using one of the sentiments if you follow the link to Kris's website at Imagine that digistamp not only is there inspiration for her projects from herself and her design team but more info on her digi stamps and the contents of each kit.

I chose a 5.5 x5.5 inch white card base and thought the Crafters Companion Sweet Treats paper collection with matching rolled roses would go nicely with this adorable bunny digi stamp. I did have this beautiful card collection but for this project,  I just used the download of the month which can still be found under April 2018 at:-

I really like these sentiments too, they are not generic which is refreshing and fit the digi images in the kits perfectly. I also thought these papers complement my bunny topper perfectly too.

I used my pearlescent Dreamees dinky inkies in powder puff pink and planet green to ink around the edges of my cardstock and rolled roses, also highlighting the roses on the topper too.

I decided to add a few little leaves to my rolled roses using one of my punches as they looked a little bare without any foliage and some mint green pearls.

It's been a lovely sunny Easter Spring weekend, but the snow flurries amid the sunshine that followed after have been a bit bizarre. I think we are all looking forward to seeing brighter skies. Have a good day, whatever your plans are.

Thank you card

Sharing my DT card for the challenge over on Let's Craft and Create blog this month with a  "Thank you" theme.

Every now and again I have a rummage through my craft stash and rediscover what I have.  One of my favourites to craft with is Debbi Moore's Bookazines.  I can't emphasize enough just how great these are for inspiration and especially new crafters.

The topper and oriental paper for this particular project was from the Inspiration Bookazine - Issue 3. I have had this particular one for some years now and still haven't used it all up....I think because I wanted to keep it with all its lovely papers and toppers as it is one of my favourites.

I have made a lot of cards from this bookazine and in the past, Debbi Moore put a lot of these collections on disk/usb. With each magazine, there would be a free gift and I have collected many cd collections over the years.

I think these beautiful images speak for themselves and all I have done is mount it on a combination of gold matt mirri card and black card, doing the same with the sentiment.

For the card base, I used the Harlequin die set by Tattered Lace, just the right size for my thank you card. I matt and layered one of the embellishments on the sheet and added some coordinating ribbon with a few metallic gems to finish it off.

Dreamees Thank You card

Today I am sharing a DT thank you card for the May blog challenge over on Let's Craft and Create with the theme "Motherly Love"
This is another Dreamees make.  As you are probably aware by now I love Dreamees products. I love their stamps, especially their flower stamps which make such pretty flower for your cards.

Onto a cream card blank, I used the inner lacy panel from their divine lacy die which leaves the lace panel in your card.

Then I used the outer frame die for my picture frame front and layered them up to give my card some dimension to the frame.

Next, I stamped the Something Stitchy flowers using rich cocoa memento ink onto the pretty pets backing paper printed off the cd. The rich cocoa gave a softer outline to the stitchy flowers. I love their little button centres which I added a little Ranger glossy accent to the centres.

I also die cut some Tattered Lace leaves/flourishes from their Spring is Coming collection which were printed onto their matching charisma paper (downloadable free from their website)

A Tattered Lace sentiment and a few gems to finish the card.  I also used the Dreamees Square Lacy Divine outer frame die for a panel inside the card to write on.

I do like a little sparkle, so added just a hint of shimmer to the edges of the flowers using my spectrum noir sparkle clear overlay pen (which I used all the time). They come in packs of 3, last ages and are available from the Crafters Companion website.

Thank you cards using Vera Lane Studios digi stamps

Sharing some thank you cards today for this months ATG Blog Challenge over on Daisy Chains.
I love, love love  digi stamps by Vera Lane Studios which are available to download direct from Etsy.
Her images are so unique and this particular one I have used for my thank you cards is called Puddle Jumps. This set comes with 6 images and 2 sentiments in jpg and png format. An adorable little girl with her duck, puddle, splashes and river a river bank.

I take the png file into a word document which allows me to manipulate the images. I have only used the little girl here for my thank you cards, which I have coloured with promarkers. Their hair matches the colour of the recipients too.

I have used a Tattered Lace rounded corner rectangle nesting die set for the layered panels on my cards and used some Ranger glossy accent on her eyeballs and boots for texture.

For this little thank you card I have used one of the Vera Lane Kokeshi Dolls (I use this set all the time). This lovely set has 5 Kokeshi Dolls, a flower and sentiment.

I have again coloured her with promarkers and used the same dies but with patterned paper. She has a little glossy accent on her cheeks too.

There are hundreds of different designs on the Vera Lane Studios website and if you go to her blog page, you will find lots of inspiration, projects and designs.

A great alternative to purchasing stamp sets and they don't take up any storage space. Great for all sorts of projects and you can change the dimensions of the images.

Kindness Postcards

I love a postcard; they come in all shapes and forms, from a reminder of where you have been to a hello friend, but unfortunately, they are ...
