Tattered Lace Raspberry Rose DT samples

Sharing my DT samples from the Tattered Lace Raspberry Rose collection launching on Create & Craft TV tomorrow at 8am.

I had the following flower dies to work with:- Climbing Rose, 3D Decoupage Gardenia Diamond & 3D Decoupage Magnolia Diamond.

3D Decoupage Gardenia Diamond

These dies have so much detail and have been printed onto bright white smooth 190gsm card using the matching charisma papers downloadable for free from the Tattered Lace website. Also using the backing papers from the collection. The little bumble bee is also part of this collection.

Using both the diamond frames, which have been snipped into to join them up

I have used the Tattered Lace Fine Filament Portifino die set and added an acetate panel to the front of the card.

The large square lacy edged die also makes a great insert for the card. The edges of the petals have been inked to add a little depth.

This time I have just used the flowers to make a flower ring without the diamond frame and used the Tattered Lace Filigree Lace die set.

The Tattered Lace Climbing Rose die, such a pretty rose with so much detail. used with the tall stepper die set from the Tattered Lace Pressed Rose collection and the Diamond Fresco Frame, along with the backing papers from the collection.

Using the charisma papers in My Craft Studio Elite I changed the colours of the roses to create a pale blue, more vintage pink and a lavender rose with coordinating ribbons and some of those bumble bees on acetate to look like they are hovering above my open book card. I used the Tattered Lace Notebook die with some of the papers from the collection and a pink leather look paper from a previous download.

Using the oval Foundation Nesting dies with some of the papers on a satin silver grey cardstock.

The 3D Decoupage Gardenia Diamond die has been printed onto glossy card and decoupaged onto  the diamond aperture. The aperture has an apple green vellum panel and I have used the diamond Foundation nesting dies along with magnolia backing papers from the collection.

A handbag card using the Tattered Lace Dimensional Handbag die set. The magnolias have been printed onto cream velour cardstock for a felt feel to them and decoupaged before adding a little sparkle using a spectrum noir sparkle clear overlay pen. I have used Kraft card for a more rustic look and some Kanban colour core embossed pattened card from my crafty stash.

These are just a few dies from the collection that I had the pleasure to work with and hope you have liked my inspiration from the collection.

Dreamees Thank You card

Today I am sharing a DT thank you card for the May blog challenge over on Let's Craft and Create with the theme "Motherly Love"
This is another Dreamees make.  As you are probably aware by now I love Dreamees products. I love their stamps, especially their flower stamps which make such pretty flower for your cards.

Onto a cream card blank, I used the inner lacy panel from their divine lacy die which leaves the lace panel in your card.

Then I used the outer frame die for my picture frame front and layered them up to give my card some dimension to the frame.

Next, I stamped the Something Stitchy flowers using rich cocoa memento ink onto the pretty pets backing paper printed off the cd. The rich cocoa gave a softer outline to the stitchy flowers. I love their little button centres which I added a little Ranger glossy accent to the centres.

I also die cut some Tattered Lace leaves/flourishes from their Spring is Coming collection which were printed onto their matching charisma paper (downloadable free from their website)

A Tattered Lace sentiment and a few gems to finish the card.  I also used the Dreamees Square Lacy Divine outer frame die for a panel inside the card to write on.

I do like a little sparkle, so added just a hint of shimmer to the edges of the flowers using my spectrum noir sparkle clear overlay pen (which I used all the time). They come in packs of 3, last ages and are available from the Crafters Companion website.

Thank you cards using Vera Lane Studios digi stamps

Sharing some thank you cards today for this months ATG Blog Challenge over on Daisy Chains.
I love, love love  digi stamps by Vera Lane Studios which are available to download direct from Etsy.
Her images are so unique and this particular one I have used for my thank you cards is called Puddle Jumps. This set comes with 6 images and 2 sentiments in jpg and png format. An adorable little girl with her duck, puddle, splashes and river a river bank.

I take the png file into a word document which allows me to manipulate the images. I have only used the little girl here for my thank you cards, which I have coloured with promarkers. Their hair matches the colour of the recipients too.

I have used a Tattered Lace rounded corner rectangle nesting die set for the layered panels on my cards and used some Ranger glossy accent on her eyeballs and boots for texture.

For this little thank you card I have used one of the Vera Lane Kokeshi Dolls (I use this set all the time). This lovely set has 5 Kokeshi Dolls, a flower and sentiment.

I have again coloured her with promarkers and used the same dies but with patterned paper. She has a little glossy accent on her cheeks too.

There are hundreds of different designs on the Vera Lane Studios website and if you go to her blog page, you will find lots of inspiration, projects and designs.

A great alternative to purchasing stamp sets and they don't take up any storage space. Great for all sorts of projects and you can change the dimensions of the images.
