To make this card I used:-
- White linen card
- Hunkydory silver rainbow mirri board
- Hobby House pastel pink pearlescent card
- Hobby House raspberry pearlescent card
- Hobby House pearl strings
- Hobby House gems
- The Dreamees - A Charming Cascade stamp set
- pink organza ribbon
- X-cut nesting heart die set
- X-cut mini tag dies
- script embossing folder
- Wow silver superfine embossing powder
Hobby House pearlescent card has a rich colour and is fabulous quality. It doesn't crack when scored or embossed. I found this embossing folder in the sale in my little craft shop. Looks fabulous embossed onto the cardstock.
Next, I used my Stamping Up - I Love Lace background stamp to heat emboss with bright white fine Wow embossing powder onto the pastel pink pearlescent card. Then I die cut the heart out of it.
I absolutely love this lace background stamp, it actually looks like fine lace when embossed and the beautiful pearlescent card still shows through.
For the flowers, I stamped and heat embossed The Dreamees - A Charming Cascade flower stamp onto their sensational flowers backing paper from the cd using silver metallic Wow embossing powder. I then pinched the centre of the petals before layering them up and adding a pearl in the centre.
I layered up the linen cardstock with Hobby House pastel pink pearlescent card, mirri board and then raspberry embossed pearlescent card.
I used Pinflair glue gel to stick the lace heart onto the card to give it dimension and then its just a case of placing all the other elements onto the card. I also used the glue gel for the flowers. Its a great adhesive for dimension and keeping elements in place. I dries clear with a rubbery finish. The embellishments are from the Hobby House Peach Raspberry Collection.
